I bought some furniture over the weekend , in fact most of you would say it is an essential piece of furniture for a home, and i felt great owning it! I read in this book called "Being Happy" that when one's mood is not very great, he/she can cheer oneself by some shopping because shopping (or any other indulgence that results in spending money on oneself and buying something good for oneself) makes you feel that you have given the treatment that you deserve. For ex. you buy a good new pair of costly shore or you treat yourself to a sumptuous costly meal in the new restaurant , it makes you feel good! And believe me its true!
I was one of those gals who hated the books and ads and movies that showed women/girls jumping with joy just by visiting the nearest mall , no matter how much sadness was surrounding them a couple of hours before. I was like,"these ppl always wanna show women as some kinda stupid spendthrifts wasting money buying stuff that they don't really need". Well I am partly correct even now since I feel its not just women but also who go through the same feeling....... I guess few of you men can throw some light here......

for me the joy of shopping lies in trying something new, the thrill of looking for the best deals, coming home and trying on that new top or pair of shoes.
so what furniture are you buying? indulge yourself girl!
as of now , i own a TV(Second hand) and a new cosy big bed :)
I feel the real joy of shopping when I am not out shopping anything specific but just chance upon something very good and buy it :)
To get out of bad mood I would indulge into F.R.I.E.N.D.S or yummy ice creams/chocolates :)

Shopping for women has always been their favorite game. Men are very bad at it.The moment we step into a shop we have to buy buy something from that shop . But women are like..They can spend the whole day and still not buy anything.It does not necessarily mean that they are really good at it.May be its the thrill of making a great bargain that drives them to waste their time on shopping .Anyway this only a sarcastic comment of a egoist male.Sarcasm is intentional.As Someone opined "I have found answers to all but one pertinent question what women really want ?"
For me happiness is buying new shoes... n lots n lots of them :) And ofcourse nothing can beat F.R.I.E.N.D.S

As far as I am concerened the thought of going for Shopping comes when I am
1.In need
2.Sometimes when I have nothing to do and completely getting bored sitting at home.
Ofcourse,both the things solely depend on how fat is my wallet at that moment.Nothing less nothing more.
